Set up your Personal Area — where you manage trading accounts, deposits and withdrawals.

Go to the Exness website
Click the Open account button on this page to reach the Exness sign-up page (partner code pre-filled), then click Register / Open account in the top corner.

Verify your email and phone
Exness sends a confirmation code by email and/or SMS. Enter it to activate your account. If the email doesn't arrive, check your Spam / Promotions folder.

Enter your Personal Area
After signing up you land in your Personal Area. A Demo and a Real account are usually created for you. You can explore right away, but unlimited deposits and withdrawals require completing KYC in Part 2.

Identity verification (KYC)
In your Personal Area, click the Complete profile / Verify banner to begin. The process has 3 steps.

Personal details & economic profile
Enter your full name, date of birth and address exactly as on your documents. Then answer a short questionnaire about your occupation, income, source of funds and trading experience.
How to write your name?Use Latin characters in the same order as on your passport or ID, e.g.JOHN MICHAEL SMITH. -
Proof of identity (POI)
Choose a document type, then photograph or upload it:
- National ID card: front and back.
- Passport: the photo page with your personal details.
- Driver's license: both sides (where accepted).
Next comes the selfie / face video: follow the on-screen prompts (turn your head, blink…) in a well-lit place.

Proof of address (POR)
Upload a document showing your full name + address, issued within the last 6 months:
- Bank or credit card statement
- Utility bill (electricity, water, internet, TV)
- Residence certificate issued by a government authority
NoteThe address on the document must match the one you entered in step 1. A document used as POI usually can't be reused as POR. -
Wait for approval
Most submissions are approved automatically within minutes; some can take up to 24 hours. You'll get an email with the result, and your Personal Area status will change to Verified.
Photo tips for first-time approval
Most rejections are caused by poor photos, not wrong documents.
✓ Do
- Photograph the original with all 4 corners in frame
- Place it on a dark, plain background in natural light
- Make sure text and portrait are sharp and readable
- Upload JPG/PNG/PDF within the allowed file size
✗ Avoid
- Screenshots, photocopies or black-and-white scans
- Flash glare, cropped corners, fingers covering details
- Edited images, stickers or collages
- Expired documents or statements older than 6 months

Frequently asked questions
What if my documents are rejected?
Read the rejection reason in the email or your Personal Area, retake the photos following the "Photo tips" section and resubmit. If it still fails, contact support via live chat on the official Exness website.
My ID shows an old address. How do I verify my address?
Use a bank statement or utility bill in your name at your current address, and enter that current address in your profile.
Can I open more than one Personal Area?
Each person should have only one verified Personal Area. Inside it you can create multiple trading accounts (Standard, Pro, Raw Spread…).
What is a partner code? Is it required?
It's a referral code from an Exness partner. It's optional; if you sign up through a referral link it's filled in automatically.
Forgot your Personal Area password?
On the login screen click "Forgot password", enter your email and follow the instructions sent to you.
